Challenges are like that in this universe. The best ones are taken up again and again. Sri Ramayana of Ramanand Sagar and the ‘Mahabharatha’ of BR Chopra are impeccable ones in the Indian history of television.

Sri Ramayana was attempted by others in regional languages. Cinevistaas with ‘Seethe’ brought Sri Ramayana to Kannada audience in Udaya TV found it successful in nearly 600 episodes.

This has been the encouraging factor for Cinevistaas producers Sunil Mehta and Prem Kishen to take up the epic for epoch making results via ‘Mahabharatha’.

The 94 episodes the ‘Mahabharatha’ that created a rage in the Indian television in Hindi was telecast in DD national from October 1988 to June 1990. It was produced by BR Chopra and directed by his son Ravi Chopra. It was most successful like Sri Ramayana of Sri Ramanand Sagar telecast in 1987-88.

While that was the biggest follow up of Sri Ramayana by the Mahabharatha in Indian television history, in Kannada the ‘Mahabharatha’ is hitting the audiences of Udaya TV from 10th of September 2012. The title song of Chopra ‘Mahabharatha’ was sung by Mahendra Kapoor and now Shanker Mahadevan has lent the title track for Veera Samarth music direction.

Krishna Sethi is the director. Kishore Kapadia is the chief cameraman. Veera Samarth has tuned the music. Chinna Honnur is chief editor, Rudramurthy Shastry has penned the dialogues, Ryan M is in graphics department, Shivakumar makeup and Chandru is costumer for this epic ‘Mahabharatha’.

Cinevistaas has completed 600 episodes of ‘Seethe’ and retaining the same 350 members team for ‘Mahabharatha’.

The Udaya TV program head Navneeth is of the opinion that Cinevistaas is different from others. They give the best without worrying on the spending part. They put heart in to the making. This difficult task of ‘Mahabharatha’ goes for 1200 episodes he expressed his wish.

Like how I have based on the top works for Sri Ramayana for ‘Seethe’, I am working in the similar fashion with more search inputs. In the beginning itself we are showing the key characters and in the flashback go deep in to the history says Prahallad. All my curiosity and anxiety ended from ‘Seethe’.
